Even seeing / typing that word sucks & gives me anxiety.
The feeling of letting yourself or others down, not getting the job done, dissapointing yourself or others, or falling short of your intentions or goals.
It hurts & there's nothing you can say or do to make it suck any less.
We do receive valuable information from mistakes & failures.
We learn more about ourselves, others, & our environment.
We learn what didn't work this time & how to fix it moving forward.
We learn how to prepare & deal with situations after we failed the first time.
Failure is inevitable.
YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BE PERFECT.
We are human.
Life is all trial & error. Trying things to see if they work for us or not. Seeing if we actually like or what the things we say we do. Without failure, you might have never learned how you felt about someone or something.
Failure is apart of the journey & its beautiful.
All we can do is try to be the best version of ourself everyday. If we fall short and fail or make a mistake. We learn from it, take the lesson, & move on.
You are a better & different person than you were yesterday. The yesterday version of yourself is an old character in this book of life.
Every success & failure has led you to where you are right now!
When we fail we have two options.
1. Sit & dwell, think why me, victim mentality, or soak in our feelings & let it take us over.
2. Understand that you are human, you are going to fail. Own it, accept it, Learn from it, move on, & let go.
You are your own worst critic.
Stop thinking about what others might think about you, because everyone else has their own failures going on!
NO ONE IS WORRIED ABOUT YOU!
They are worried about their own life.
So stop being so hard on yourself.
We must learn to go back, forgive our past selves & characters in order to learn & move on.
We all fail. It's what you do with that lesson learned & the changes you have made in your life that makes you who you are.
It's okay to make a mistake, just don't make the same mistake twice.
We fail together.
We learn together.
We grow together.
