#037: Brilliant F*cking Ideas.

Today's version of Inside The Minds is a very short reminder.

You ever know you should be doing something a certain way but choose another way anyway?

Maybe the new way "might be better" or something, right?

I do this all the time.

One of those things this week (during my Think Week which I referenced in blog #035) is writing notes.

The basic of my Think Week was ultimately to get a bunch of banger new ideas and then find a path of clarity on executing them.

One of my mistakes this week (that I have since corrected) is where I took my notes.

I had notes in a regular notebook on a random page, the notes app on my phone, a plain white piece of stock paper, and a Google Doc.

I was all over the place.

It very quickly became overwhelming and ruined the whole "find clarity" part of my overall intention.

Since, I have written all my notes in a notebook that my sister gifted me that has it's own title.

She knows me as well as anyone because, to this day, it's one of my favorite gifts ever.

It's a notebook with a big 'ole blocky title called Fucking Brilliant Ideas.

But...

The point I'm trying to make is this:

Physically write your ideas down in a central location that is purely for ideas.

Stock piling ideas by itself is basically useless.

Going over ideas to spark to ways of thinking to inspire creative clarity is the real game.

That's the point of today's blog.

Physically write your ideas down in one spot. Gain clarity. Execute.

To brilliant fucking ideas...

Let's get back to work.
